Starting in August, users of the Braintree and PayPal payment gateways who are located in the United States can offer Fastlane by PayPal as an accelerated checkout solution. This provides guest shoppers with a streamlined, passwordless checkout experience using their securely saved credentials in as little as one click.

With Fastlane by PayPal, your shoppers can create a payment profile from any Fastlane-enabled business. Once they have a Fastlane profile, shoppers only need to verify via mobile code on future orders to autofill their details, allowing them to complete checkout with a single click.

Getting started with Fastlane by PayPal
Fastlane by PayPal is currently available to merchants and shoppers located in the United States and transact in USD, but there are additional requirements for configuring Fastlane in your store.
If you meet these requirements and are connecting to the PayPal or Braintree gateway for the first time, Fastlane will be enabled by default. If you’re an existing user, navigate to your gateway’s settings tab in Settings › Payments and check the box next to Enable Fastlane by PayPal.
Once enabled, you can specify how you want privacy information to be displayed at checkout and customize the appearance of Fastlane elements of checkout by using Fastlane’s settings.
