Earlier this month, we began rolling out updates to customer pages within the control panel, starting with customer groups. While providing improvements to enhance performance and stability, we’ve also updated the appearance and the management experience to more closely match other areas of the control panel.
We’re pleased to announce that starting February 3, 2025, updates will also begin rolling out to the customer list and customer edit pages.
Updates to the customer list page include a more streamlined customer account table, quick access and management of custom views, improved search and filter functionality, as well as bulk customer group assignments.
To help minimize scrolling and reduce clicks, the major action buttons are now located in the upper right of the page.
Additionally, custom views can be accessed more easily from tabs above the search bar.
Quickly assign multiple customers to the same customer group with an experience similar to our product list category assignments and inventory updates.
The customer edit page has also been updated, giving it a more modern single-page experience. An improved layout reduces vertical scrolling and groups together similar customer details, such as email and password fields.
The address book is now part of the same page, allowing you to efficiently manage customer’s saved addresses without switching to a separate tab.
Updates to the customer pages showcase our commitment to delivering a quality control panel experience. By improving the layout of commonly-used features, we’ve made them quicker and easier to use, letting you spend less time on customer management.
