When Jerry and Rosemary Sullivan opened a camera repair business in 1976, it operated out of the spare bedroom in their home.
With a baby on the way, the pair scraped by while Jerry worked at another local camera repair shop until they saved enough to open their first retail location.
Three buildings and many years later, the business has grown to become the largest camera store in Texas selling new and used cameras, providing rentals, doing repairs, and offering classes to the public.
However, with this growth came new challenges, particularly with its online store.
Precision Camera started looking for an ecommerce platform that could accommodate its large inventory and customer experience needs, and landed on BigCommerce.

In addition, we love the searchability of our products on BigCommerce. This was a huge reason we picked the platform. The keyword feature for each product makes it easy for our customers to find the product they need via the search tool built into our website.
The customer support BigCommerce offered made picking the platform an easy choice.
The customer support team has always been easy to contact and work with, and all of our questions have been addressed immediately, which makes our lives much less stressful.
We also like that they’ve recommended the right tools and integrations to us, helping us find the best solutions for our needs.
