Jimmy Duvall

At BigCommerce, Jimmy leads the global product organization, overseeing all aspects of product management, design, strategy and program management with teams located in the Bay Area, Austin, Kyiv and Sydney.

During his time at BigCommerce, Jimmy has fully transformed the product and company strategy from a single-segment focus on small business to an industry-leading Open SaaS ecommerce platform serving small business, mid-market and large enterprise customers. Under Jimmy’s leadership, BigCommerce has effectively disrupted the ecommerce market with a highly scalable Open SaaS product offering.

Over the course of his 25-year career, Jimmy has held key leadership roles with market leaders including Magento, which was the world’s leading ecommerce platform at the time; Yahoo! Store, which was named the #1 ecommerce platform on Internet Retailer’s IR 500 list under Jimmy’s leadership; and GSI Commerce, where he served some of the world’s top brands and built industry-leading omnichannel commerce capabilities. He also served in product and leadership roles at Hootsuite, Good Technology, Homestead, Lotus and IBM.

Jimmy holds a BS in Computer Information Systems from Devry University. He currently lives in the Bay Area and is the proud father of two daughters.
